Feice watches are becoming increasingly popular for combining design and quality at a reasonable price, but what is their origin? Are they really good? These and other questions will be answered here.
I’ll answer the first question for you now and yes, it is a brand of Chinese watches, but it is far from other low-cost brands from the Far East.
In the case of Feice, much more attention is paid to the details, both in the manufacturing process and in each of the components involved.
In this post, we will examine each of these details more closely and show some of the best Feice watches that can currently be found.

✚ Feice Watches: Origin and History
The origin of Feice dates back to 2009, when it was founded in Shenzhen with the aim of selling quality watches in the domestic market.
Shenzhen is a modern city located in the south of Guangdong province and the closest to Hong Kong, to which it connects with the mainland.
It would only be a year before the brand begins to manufacture Bauhaus-style watches, and in 2014 it begins to sell its watches through the Internet.
However, it won’t be until 2017 when the company takes the leap to the international market, using the large online sales platforms.
Originally, the brand name was “Feike”, but it was changed to Feice due to its similarity with the English word “Fake”, with clear negative connotations, especially for a Chinese watch.
In China, the translation would be something like “Flyer”, a country where the brand’s sales were initially focused, so the name was not a problem until the subsequent international expansion.
Currently, the brand continues to base its designs on the Bauhaus style, although it has extended its catalog with a wide variety of both mechanical and quartz models.
✚ Are Feice Watches Good?
One could say that Feice is a Chinese brand that has little to envy many of the major watchmaking firms in terms of materials and finishes.
Components such as the case, glass, strap, or even the internal mechanism are selected with special attention. Let’s look at them in parts:
- Case: the brand only uses 316L stainless steel, a very resistant and hypoallergenic material. Exactly the same as that used by other much more expensive brands.
- Glass: it is very common in Feice watches to use curved mineral glass, which offers good visibility and is relatively hard, besides being aesthetically very attractive. It also manufactures some models with sapphire crystal.
- Strap: generally soft and flexible leather, although there are also models with a stainless steel strap. In both cases, quality materials are used.
- Movement: Feice mechanical watches often mount Seagull, one of the best Chinese-made movements, and PTS Hangzhou, also quite reliable despite being Chinese. Quartz ones, on the other hand, tend to use Japanese-made mechanisms, which is also a good sign.
If to this we add that they also usually come well presented in the original box, with their instruction manual and the rest of the corresponding documents, it is clear that this is a good brand that pays a lot of attention to detail.
✚ Best Feice Watches
Among the best Feice watches, we find mainly Bauhaus-style designs and mechanical watches, although there are also some interesting quartz models. They are as follows:
➤ Feice FM202
The FM202 is an automatic mechanical watch with a distinctive Bauhaus style and some additional complications such as the power reserve indicator at 12 o’clock.
This makes it very interesting as it allows you to see the remaining operating hours on the dial and determine when it is necessary to wind the mechanism.
It also features a curved crystal, a transparent case back, and manual winding, which is very useful when you want to wind the movement without wearing the watch.
Crystal | Mineral |
---|---|
Movement | Automatic mechanical |
Caliber | PTS Hangzhou |
Case Diameter | 42 mm |
Case Thickness | 11 mm |
Materials | Stainless steel case and leather strap |
Water Resistance | 3 ATM (30 meters) |
➤ Feice FM212
Another mechanical Feice watch with a power reserve indicator is the FM212, which operates similarly to the FM202. Only the design differs.
In this case, you can also find a transparent case back to see the mechanism in action and the classic curved crystal of the brand.
The main differences are found in the hour markers, the arrangement of the date window, and the color of the dial.
Crystal | Mineral |
---|---|
Movement | Automatic mechanical |
Caliber | Chinese |
Case Diameter | 41 mm |
Case Thickness | 11 mm |
Materials | Stainless steel case and leather strap |
Water Resistance | 3 ATM (30 meters) |
➤ Feice FM301
With the FM301, we enter another category of the brand’s watches with some higher-quality details, such as the automatic Seagull caliber and a sapphire crystal.
Sapphire is much more resistant to scratches than mineral glass and provides even greater visibility. However, being harder, it also has less flexibility to withstand a hard impact or a fall, for example.
In any case, we are looking at one of the best watches from the brand, and its price is often similar or even lower than the other mechanical models.
Crystal | Sapphire |
---|---|
Movement | Automatic mechanical |
Caliber | Seagull |
Case Diameter | 34 mm |
Case Thickness | 10 mm |
Materials | Stainless steel case and leather strap |
Water Resistance | 3 ATM (30 meters) |
➤ Feice FS303
The FS303 is one of the brand’s most popular quartz watches. It is a multifunction retro-style chronograph that includes features such as a tachymeter.
Inside, a mechanism of Japanese origin is responsible for positioning each hand, providing precise and reliable movement that can work for years without deviation.
All of this is housed in a stainless steel case with the classic curved mineral glass that enhances the vintage aesthetics of the watch.
Crystal | Mineral |
---|---|
Movement | Japanese Quartz |
Case Diameter | 41 mm |
Case Thickness | 10 mm |
Materials | Stainless steel case and leather strap |
Water Resistance | 3 ATM (30 meters) |
➤ Feice FM506
Finally, another mechanical model from the brand that also uses a Seagull caliber is the FM506. However, in this case, the crystal is curved mineral rather than sapphire.
Unlike the FM301, the entire case back is transparent, allowing for a better view of the movement.
Crystal | Mineral |
---|---|
Movement | Automatic mechanical |
Caliber | Seagull |
Case Diameter | 40 mm |
Case Thickness | 10 mm |
Materials | Stainless steel case and leather strap |
Water Resistance | 3 ATM (30 meters) |
✚ Prices and Reviews
These watches are well constructed, and that is evident in the often very positive reviews, which reflect the brand’s good performance.
Although they are not precisely cheap watches, especially considering their origin, their price is closer to major Western brands than to Chinese brands.
In any case, if you are looking for a homage watch, inspired by a significant brand, but want it to have a minimum level of quality, this brand may be suitable.
